CEREC

Dr. Perona uses CEREC technology to restore damaged and decayed teeth in just one visit, saving you time and money while giving beautiful results. CEREC is an innovative system that allows us to clean and care for the damaged area, take an optical impression of the jawbone and teeth, and then design and create a realistic restoration using computer software and our in-house milling machine. CEREC creates fillings and crowns in just minutes, allowing Dr. Perona to replace a filling or place a new crown in one visit.

Dental Crowns

If a tooth is severely damaged or decayed, we can often save the tooth and its roots by placing a dental crown over the visible portion of the tooth. After cleaning and disinfecting the area and removing any damage, the tooth is shaped and filed to accept the dental crown. The crown is cemented in place to protect the tooth from additional damage and give you a natural-looking tooth.

Some dental crowns can be placed in a single visit using CEREC technology. Some cases may require the placement of a temporary crown with a permanent restoration at a second appointment.

Dental Implants

Dental implants replace the entire tooth, including the root and visible portion. Getting dental implants is a lengthy process, but it is the only permanent solution for missing teeth. Dental implants offer several advantages, including jawbone preservation, full bite force, and comfort. Dr. Perona works closely with his patients and an oral surgeon to coordinate dental implant restoration from surgery to final restoration.

Dental Fillings

A dental filling is the simplest and most effective way to eliminate a cavity or repair a crack in a tooth. We use several filling materials, including porcelain inlays, composite resins, and tooth-colored ceramic, which are attractive, match your natural tooth color, and last decades. We never use silver amalgam for fillings, as these are easily damaged and can weaken the tooth.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are a great solution if you are missing one or a few teeth and do not want to undergo implant surgery. A dental bridge replaces the missing tooth and is attached to the remaining teeth on either side using dental crowns placed over the teeth to support the replacement tooth over the gumline. We offer both fixed and removable bridges for convenience and comfort.
