Dr. Perona and our entire team follow procedures recommended by several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

These measures include Standard Precautions and Transmission-Based Precautions:

• Proper hand hygiene 
• Gloves and face masks- disposed after each patient
• Eye protection
• Face shields
• Gowns or lab coates
• Chemical disinfection of countertops and all exposed surfaces after every patient with non-toxic environmentally safe CDC approved products
• Sterilization of all equipment, non-disposable items and tools before every use

• Jade air purifiers by Surgically Clean Air to clean, disinfect and revitalize the air

We sterilize all reusable equipment, including dental hand pieces. We use an autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and pressure.
